Margaret Cook

Partner & President​

Margaret founded Simetra Systems, Inc. in 1991 with a vision to help companies develop practical management solutions for their ever-growing data. Margaret identified Microsoft as the leader in data management applications and focused her company on becoming leading experts in Microsoft application development and design. Margaret is a graduate of Marlborough School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems (MIS) from The University of Arizona. ​

Prior to founding Simetra Systems, she worked in the Aerospace Industry at Rockwell International for 8 years, developing project management and financial computer systems. In December of 1993, Margaret was recognized as a Microsoft Certified Partner and has been in good standing ever since.​

Kevin Jung

Partner & Vice President​

Kevin joined Simetra Systems, Inc. in full partnership in 1996. Kevin is an expert in designing and implementing efficient systems to run software applications, internal databases, and wireless solutions. Kevin’s expertise makes Simetra one of the few programming/software development companies that can support and design hardware for our clients. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems (MIS) from The University of Arizona. ​

Prior to joining Simetra, he worked in the Aerospace industry for 8 years at Rockwell International where he specialized in hardware components and developing and managing internal Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks. Kevin was recognized as a Microsoft Certified Partner in 1996 and has been in good standing ever since. He also holds multiple Microsoft certifications in Hardware design and implementation.

Cheryl Estrella

Senior Applications Developer​

Cheryl Estrella joined Simetra Systems in 2002 with a degree in MIS and a strong background in relational database design and architecture. She has expertise in both windows-based desktop and web-based full-stack development using Microsoft technologies. These include Microsoft SQL Server, .NET platform languages such as ASP.NET, C#.NET, and Visual Basic .NET, Microsoft Access and Office automation using Visual Basic for Applications, and web languages such as javascript, jquery, ajax, json, xml, css, and html. Cheryl has developed custom desktop and web applications for customers in a wide variety of industries including finance, entertainment, manufacturing and supply chain management, automotive, aerospace, retail, medical, and transportation.

Karen Sorensen

Senior Applications Developer​

Karen joined Simetra Systems in 2006 and holds a B.S. in Computer Science. She is a lead expert in custom application development using Microsoft technologies such as VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access. Karen has developed application solutions for clients in a wide variety of industries including financial, entertainment, manufacturing, inventory control, transportation, and online business and certification courses.
